WHERE CAN I SERVE?

Members of Living Waters Church are involved in a variety of ministries. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Colossians 3:23-24.

Mission Outreach

Living Waters Church is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are active in supporting missionaries with our offerings and with our prayers. We support more than 50 missionaries and their families each month. We have had volunteers from our church who have taken mission outreach trips to other countries. We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers.

Music

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music ministry. Some play their instruments and some are vocalists. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of our church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

Ushers

The usher team at Living Waters Church fills an important role. They assist in the collection of the tithes and offerings and make sure they are put in their proper place. They may also assist in distribution of any handouts which are required by the pastor or leadership during a service.

Children’s Ministry

Children are a blessing from the Lord. But with these blessings come a responsibility to provide an environment in which they are safe and are taught at age-appropriate levels to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. These volunteers have compassionate hearts to see that these children are equipped for a life surrendered to their Lord and Savior.
Youth Ministry

After Shock Youth Ministry is the church’s efforts to help each and every young person to grow personally and spiritually. The purpose of this team is training young people, middle and high school ages, to apply Christianity to every area of life in a fun and Godly atmosphere to the glory of God.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. Areas include sound and visual systems, church website, and social networking with church and youth Facebook pages — all supplying church communication.

Van Drivers

We have an amazing group of volunteers who operate to provide needed transportation to its members. The church van picks up people for various church services and activities. There are many individuals who would not be able to attend church services without this caring group of drivers.

Intercessory Teams

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, before the morning service, our church board members pray at the front altars for anyone needing prayer. Volunteers from our church meet each week to pray for the needs of the congregation, the pastoral and leadership staff, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Every Tuesday there is a prayer and fasting time at 12 noon. Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study. We covet all those who spend time in prayer for our church community.

Nursery

Nursery volunteer teams provide safe and loving care for our infants, toddlers and young children up to 4 years old.
